First post! This will be a class-related blog for the sole purpose of sharing my finished assignments. Here is my first one.

The project was to recreate someone’s lost childhood object by their verbal description alone.

I made this imitation of a pointe shoe by memory using cardboard-like material, tape, paint, fabrics, ribbon, thread and glue. It’s a little funny looking, but I find myself pleased with the result nonetheless.
